Whether it's by partnering with national youth organizations who share our agricultural values, creating and maintaining scholarships to recognize and encourage academic excellence, or educating students on the many exciting opportunities the agricultural industry holds, the DEKALB brand has a strong connection to the next generation of farmers and ag leaders.

The DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award

Since the first DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award was presented in 1947, DEKALB has been dedicated to the advancement of ag youth. Since that time, over 150,000 high school seniors from across the country have been honored for their commitment to agriculture.

The DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award recognizes and encourages excellence in scholarship, leadership and agricultural work experience. In addition to awarding excellence with scholarships for education, this prestigious award creates role models for younger students by showcasing success within communities.

While agriculture instructors are responsible for selecting and submitting each school winner, it is a highlight each spring for DEKALB representatives to present these awards at high school and FFA banquets and graduation ceremonies across the country.

DEKALB WingWear™ Helps Ag Youth Celebrate Individuality and Funds Scholarships

Farmers associate DEKALB with high-quality corn seed products. Now, fashion-forward teens across the country are associating the new DEKALB line of apparel and accessories, DEKALB WingWear, with trendy clothing that helps fund ag youth scholarships.

Launched in 2007, DEKALB WingWear is a full line of custom-designed graphic apparel and accessories for young men and women. For each item of DEKALB WingWear sold, a portion of proceeds helps to fund the DEKALB Ag Youth Scholarship, awarded to high school and college students pursuing agricultural degrees who demonstrate strong leadership skills and community involvement.

DEKALB WingWear also hosts exciting contests and promotions throughout the year to give youth the opportunity to raise money for their favorite ag youth organizations, win educational opportunities and much more.
