DEKALB LogoEducational Materials

Agricultural biotechnology has demonstrated many advantages for growers. To preserve the benefits and insect protection of these new traits, every grower must comply with licensing terms and must have an Insect Resistance Management (IRM) plan.

The educational materials available here are intended for growers and dealers. They are designed to provide information about proper stewardship of biotechnology-modified crops, including refuge requirements and management, insect resistance management and observance of intellectual property protection.

In general, the courses require third-party software to operate properly. The minimum requirements are described here, and links are provided for downloading these.

  • Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher

  • Windows Media Player 6.0 or higher

  • Adobe Flash Player 6 or higher

The courses are best viewed in 800x600, or above, screen resolution. Video clips are best viewed with a broadband connection.
