Roundup Ready® Corn 2 fits how you farm. Engineered to work with Roundup® agricultural herbicides, Roundup Ready Corn 2 enables broad-spectrum weed control, outstanding crop safety and more flexibility when used in the Roundup Ready System.
Superior crop safety can add bushels to your yield and more than $13† more profit per acre to your bottom line. More flexibility means no matter what your spray program is, Roundup Ready Corn 2 fits the way you farm:
Pre-emergence residual herbicide followed by post-emergence herbicide.
Pre-emergence residual herbicide tank mixed with post-emergence herbicide.
Sequential post-emergence herbicide only.
See for yourself why Roundup Ready Corn 2 makes perfect profit sense. Plant it on your acres, and watch your potential grow.

When you start clean and stay clean, the Roundup Ready Corn 2 System is maximum broad-spectrum weed control. It's the best way to kill weeds the entire season, year after year. By wiping out weeds throughout the season, you'll prevent them from setting seed. And with no seeds, you minimize the risk of weed resistance.
A Roundup Ready residual rate of a Harness® or Degree® brand is all you need.
Early-season weed control is critical to maximizing yield potential.
It reduces weeds to reduce the weed seed bank.
It gives you better flexibility for maximum weed control – pre to late-post.
Timely applications and the appropriate rate of Roundup WeatherMAX® or Roundup PowerMAX™ will give you unsurpassed broad-spectrum weed control.
Because Roundup WeatherMAX and Roundup PowerMAX herbicides are so effective, it may be the only post-emergence product you need.

The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System has flexibility built right in.
Starting clean with a residual increases your flexibility for maximum weed control and helps you manage around the weather.
In general, weed flushes should be controlled before they exceed 4 inches in height. However, if the weather doesn't cooperate, Roundup WeatherMAX gives you a wider window of application – up to 20-inch weed height – than other post-emergence herbicides.
Opportunity to control late annual weed flushes
The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System simplifies your weed-control program and provides greater flexibility to manage around the weather.

The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System with Roundup WeatherMAX provides greater flexibility than the Liberty Link® System on tough weeds.

The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System delivers proven crop safety – and peace of mind. In four years of field trials, lowering your risk of crop injury delivers up to 6.5 bushels an acre more than conventional corn herbicide programs.
Because Roundup Ready Corn 2 was specifically designed for Roundup agricultural herbicides, you can get superior crop safety compared with other non-glyphosate post-emergence herbicides.
The Roundup Ready Corn 2 System can reduce potential yield loss from crop injury.
Grower on-farm trials have shown that using Roundup agricultural herbicides with built-in crop safety on Roundup Ready Corn 2 can yield up to 6.5 bushels per acre more than certain other herbicide programs (applied over the same Roundup Ready hybrid).
The Roundup Ready program, using the same hybrids for all programs, out yielded other programs in 73% of trials.

Timing means everything when it comes to weed control in corn. In fact, research shows if you let weeds grow beyond 4 inches in height, they start competing with your crop and seriously cutting into yield.
For optimal yields, it's not only critical to use a pre-emergent herbicide for early season weed control, it's also critical to use the residuals recommended most for the Roundup Ready® Corn 2 System.
Degree delivers up to 15 days more weed control than Dual II Magnum Herbicide®, thanks to its patented temperature-released technology.
Harness® and Harness Xtra Herbicides give you a complete control package for consistent performance in a variety of weather conditions.

**All premixes were applied with an appropriate burndown 2-3 weeks prior to
planting. All post applications were applied to V5 (16") stage corn.

soil and weather conditions may vary.

Reduced rates of acetanilides affect the length of control, not the spectrum of control.
Use Roundup Ready technology as your foundation.
Start clean and control weeds early.
Add other herbicides and cultural practices where appropriate as part of the Roundup Ready System.
Use the right rate of Roundup agricultural herbicide at the right time.
Control weeds throughout the season and reduce the weed seed bank.
Report any repeated incidences of nonperformance to your local Monsanto retailer or call 1-800-ROUNDUP.

Dead weeds will not produce seed and become resistant.
Roundup agricultural herbicides have been on the market for 30 years and have been the most widely used herbicide in corn, soybeans and cotton for over eight years.
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, has a unique mode of action and makes the chances of weed resistance to Roundup agricultural herbicide less likely than other chemistries.
After nine years of commercial use in the United States, 12 weeds were resistant to the active ingredient in Pursuit® Herbicide, while only two weeds have been confirmed resistant to glyphosate in Roundup Ready cropping areas.
If signs of resistance should occur, options are available to manage effectively and economically. Tank mixes have provided effective and economical control of resistant weeds.

Roundup Ready® Corn 2 was planted on more than 24 million acres in 2005, nearly 30% of all U.S. corn acres planted this season. Unsurpassed weed control, excellent crop safety and flexibility to manage around the weather explain why the Roundup Ready Corn 2 System continues to enjoy such a rapid adoption rate. Always Read and Follow Pesticide Label Directions. Roundup Ready® crops contain genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup® agricultural herbicides. Roundup® agricultural herbicides will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate. Degree® and Harness® are restricted use pesticides and are not registered in all states. The distribution, sale or use of an unregistered pesticide is a violation of federal and/or state law and is strictly prohibited.
